Our M.City 1989 Retro Home Shirt Socks are inspired by Manchester Citys home shirt of that season. The shirt designed by Umbro and sponsored by Brother, had a light blue inverted chevron design. In 1989 success looked very different for Man City, they were in Division 2 and managed to acheive promotion finishing second behind Chelsea. Memorable players from that season included Ian Brightwell, Any Hinchcliffe, and Paul Simpson.
